As the final executor of curriculum reform, Teachers should change the traditional concepts of education, improve teaching behavior, and improve overall quality. Teachers adapt the curriculum reform is the key to change form concept to behavior.In this study, Teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform is defined as:according to the new teaching requirements of the curriculum reform, teacher constantly change the inner concept of teaching and the external teaching behavior within their own, thus maintain a balanced, stable capacity characteristics between oneself and the external education environment. Teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform includes three dimensions:psychological identification, capacity building and conduct practice.In order to understand teachers in rural and urban adaptation of the curriculum reform, in this study, through consulting the literature about the curriculum reform and teachers' adaptability, using the self-made questionnaire and interview outline, searching the school of curriculum reform practice, integrated use of literature analysis, survey research and comparative analysis, investigation and teachers in rural and urban adaptation of curriculum reform is different, the reasons for differences.Survey showed that:there are significant differences between the rural and urban teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform, the rural teachers' adaptability was significantly lower than urban teachers. Difference lies in the following areas:overall experience of the curriculum reform, the behavioral intention in the process of curriculum reform, the changing of teachers' role, the practice of teaching methods and evaluation methods and the ability to practice the curriculum reform. Through surveys, interviews, and the use of education, psychology and sociology relevant theoretical, analysis that the reasons for differences include teachers subjective factors, objective factors, social, historical and cultural factors. For these reasons, it proposes the general recommendations for improving the teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform and the special strategies of improving rural teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform.It is not easy for teachers to adapt the curriculum reform, and it requires a long process. Government, education sector and the community of society should provide a variety of favorable conditions for teachers to adapt curriculum reform, adopt various powerful measures, speed up the process of teachers' adaptability for curriculum reform, and promote the effective implementation of curriculum reform. |
