The aim of this paper is to know those music teachers' true attitude to the new basic education curriculum reform through the investigation of the teachers'curriculum adaptability at Han Baidu town. Then, the study makes some suggestion on how to enhance the music teachers' curriculum adaptability in rural middle and primary school in China.The main findings are as fellows:1. The teachers have lower curriculum adaptability in rural middle and primary school. But they all support this new curriculum reform.2. At first, the conventional conception and knowledge about music curriculum is important factor, which has an influence on the teachers' curriculum adaptability in rural middle and primary school. Secondly, the teachers' character isn't clear that caused their poor confidence in the new curriculum reform. So, the government should give the people a clear publicity about the new curriculum reform,and the school should give the teachers a opportunity of learning.3. The practicality of the new curriculum itself is the crucial factor, There are many teachers who support the new curriculum reform, but they don't have optimistic attitudes on it.
