With the development of society, as time progressed, all school classroom around the world are experiencing "quiet revolution", the classroom in the place of "professor" into a "place for learning". The development of Chinese "quiet revolution" is also quite rapidly and widely. Along with the tide of world curriculum reform, at the beginning of the new century our country has ushered the largest and strongest strength of the new curriculum reform.New music course of ordinary high school lead the implement in autumn of2004in four provinces of Shandong, Guangdong, Hainan and Ningxia, following by Jiangsu, Liaoning, Tianjin, Zhejiang, Fujian and Anhui in succession. This reform powerfully promote the process of quality education, up to now, the high school music curriculum reform has been comprehensively advancing across the country. As the latest province of curriculum reform, in September2012Guangxi formally opened the prelude of the new curriculum reform of high school music. Nearly a year, new curriculum reform of high school music progress in full swing, while, there are many problems in the process of concrete exploration implementation. As the curriculum reform’s eventually practitioners and practitioners at the local level, the adaptation of music teachers to the new curriculum’s situation has a close relationship with the further deepening of curriculum reform, it has an irreplaceable important role. If the problems which met by the teachers in the process of the new curriculum reform when they try to adapt to the teaching reform of teaching materials, teaching methods, evaluation in the first place, the implementation of the new curriculum reform will inevitably be hinder or delayed.This thesis takes the perspective of action research in high school music lessons of Guangxi, make factual studies on the adaptation of teachers in the process of new curriculum reform’s implementation. In order to know the adaptation degree and to explore the existed problems in the process, the author selected three high schools’music teachers as representatives in Guilin. To make analysis on the teaching procedure through interviews, class examples. In the neutral point of view, to find the reasons why teachers did not adapt to the situation in the process of new curriculum reform, and put forward suggestions and countermeasures. What is more, through this study, the author also want to provide some help and mutual learning for the local music teaching workers, to do a little duty for better implementing the standard of music curriculum reform, and specific the music teaching reform direction.The thesis is divided into five parts:The first chapter is introduction. Music curriculum reform has gained many achievements and experience since2001, at the same time there is still a lot of problems remaining to be solved. Promoting quality education in school, the key point lies in teachers. On account of curriculum reform practice in high school of Guangxi, the reason of adaptation to teaching, the background information, the value and significance of this research will be demonstrated in this section. Through the investigation and study, the author puts forwards own thinking on this problem, hope to help the development of basic music education research in depth direction of high schools in GuangxiChapter two is the research and design of topics. In view of the topic, analysis of the theory and related literature review followed in the latter part, then the design idea and method is presented. The selection of empirical research methods made the research idea more clear and definite.Chapter three mainly focus on Guangxi’s implementation of high school music reform. Although Guangxi is the last province to carry out high school curriculum reform, but their abundant experience have a lot of reference, from another point of view, Guangxi has a strong enforcement to carry out their curriculum reform. This section make a full explanation on the following aspects:the overall planning of Guangxi’s music curriculum reform, support of departments at all levels, teacher training, teaching material choice and scheme selection. Getting to know the music curriculum reform in Guangxi’s implementation has a important effect on to understand the adaptability of teachers in the reform process.Chapter four is the representation of adaptation situation and analysis. Through the methods of interview, case observation, communicate and cooperative with teachers, to make analysis on the the problems of adaptation situation which exist in classroom teaching, the following parts are the main troubles that find out by the author:whether teachers’ music quality can match with the new curriculum reform; whether teachers’ teaching methods are properly; whether teachers’self-improvement consciousness is strong.Chapter five mainly on discussion and suggestions, aim at researches on the adaptation problems of teaching methods and teachers’ quality,make an analysis on the factors that causes adaptation problems in Guangxi, finally an example of some suggestions on how to promote teachers adaptation to the current situation are put forward.
