High School Modern Media Arts Courses Of Study

The quality of the curriculum implemented in school level greatly indicates the success of the curriculum reform. The curriculum which has been designed is quite different from that is to be implemented, that is to say, the perfectly planed curriculum can't go well as expected if implemented in the real context. In China, for the fist time, "modern media art" appears as an independent learning field in high school curriculum system, consequently its popularization and implementation in the Fine Arts Curriculum comes into the focus.This paper draws on and absorbs the new ideas in education and new achievements in Fine Arts from research documents both at home and abroad by the use of questionnaire, interview and observations in classes. This study selects the general senior school new curriculum reform testing district as the subject of the case study, as well as investigates the students,teachers, principals and teaching researchers who is experiencing the reform of technique curriculum to disclose the interaction relationship between the new art media curriculum implementation feature on school level and corresponding factors. The aim is to provide reference to the effective implementation and remedy of Fine Arts curriculum scheme in general high school.Research has shown that the factors affecting the implementation of modern media art curriculum make up of a complex system. Factors including the features of the modern art media curriculum, students, teachers, and the supportive factors influence each other in different levels, which is to constraint or enhance the implementation of new media art. Finally, aiming at the problems explored and taking into consideration the factors identified, the writer is to present some consulting suggestions and in hopes of improving the regular and popular implementation of the new media art curriculum.
