Learning interest is the decisive factor for students to study well. It is the first step toobtain knowledge, the origin of the wish to study well. If pupils have strongerlearning interest, the learning materials will be more impressive in their minds, andthe mind of learning will be more active and effective. Then the pupils will get twicethe result with half the effort in learning. Especially, for the active pupils to learn themathematics which is abstract, logical and lifeless, the learning interest is moreimportant.On the problem of how to cultivate the students' learning interest, there havebeen already a lot of scholars who have paid attention to it and carded on the researchin the worldwide. There are so many valuable experiences we should inherit. Butthere are still some defects in nowadays studies. For example, on the study of" thestrategies of how to cultivate students' learning interest in mathematics", someteaching strategies overemphasize the importance of interest in teaching styles whileneglect the importance of the objective teaching materials and the mathematicthoughts. Some teaching strategies only emphasize the teaching process in the classwhile neglect the stages before or after class. Some teaching strategies are roughwithout deep research, or lack in the specific instruction for the condition orappropriate people. And some strategies are snippety, not systemic. So, we shouldkeep on further discussing and researching.From the investigation of the questionnaire and the interview, we can know thatin our country many pupils have few interests in learning mathematics. According tothe condition, the problem in the research and the teaching, the characteristic ofteaching, this article put forward a set of teaching strategies. The strategies are basedon the characteristics of the primary math, the theory of" nearest development area",the theory of cognitive development, the theory of communication and the theory ofcommunicative teaching. It is for the purpose of cultivating the students' learninginterest in math through enhancing communication between teachers and pupils, anddifferent adjustment in teaching based on individuality. The teaching strategy system suggests two perspectives on the macrocosm and the microcosm, and twoconsiderations from vertical and horizontal levels. From macroscopic view, it putforward the mutual teaching strategy of the whole process by considering differentsteps of teaching on horizontal level; according to different grades in primary school,it propose the selecting teaching strategy according to the different grades on verticallevel. From microcosmic view, different strategies are based on complicated factors.In order to take good use of the teaching strategies, in learning process, studentsshould be the main body, teachers should be the guiders. Teachers should use thestrategies flexibly and use two or more strategies together to enhance the strong pointsand avoid the weaknesses.
