Adult Higher Education Admissions Policy Reform, Research And Development Of Countermeasures

This dissertation studies the practical policies of adult higher education recruitment and the its development, based on the case study of the whole nation, from the aspect of the national education policy, combined with the study of education theory, and the practical situation of the adult higher education as well as the author's own rich working experience. The author puts forward that the reforming and developing policies in detail by means of the study of systematical demonstration of present situations and the policies of Chinese adult higher education and the international successful experience.The preface introduces the reasons for selecting the topic and the important sense of the research of the study in this essay. In addition, the research theories and the methods are included in this dissertation. These are the social system analytical method, interview method, documentation study method comparison method, etc. According to the theories of education in equal and democratization and a life-time education, the essay is demonstrated that adult higher education is meaningful to realizing a sustainable development society. The relative policies are also involved in this dissertation.The first section is talking about the current situation of the Chinese adult higher education recruiting students, the reforming and the developing situation during "the Ninth Five-year Plan" and the present recruiting students systems and the methods as well. By means of demonstrating the basic conceptions of adults, adult higher education, adult universities and its systems, the essay is decided the category and the objects, and the further demonstration of Chinese adult higher education recruiting students , which lays on the basis for later analysis.The second section is about such issues as the adult higher education, the normal higher professional education, the policies of recruiting students plan-made, the characteristics of the current recruiting students situation of adult higher education and the problems of examination disciplines in question.The third section introduces the mode and recruiting students system of adult higher education in the main nations with characteristics firstly, and then lays emphasis on the situations of our nation and predicts the developing direction.The forth section puts forward the detailed reforms and the policies that are renewing the concept, establishing the systems of life-time study, strengthening unity of building universities and recruiting students, uniting the part of senior high school based and the part of entrance examination province-graded, improving the recruiting students work on line, spreading the size of recruiting students work and making service for west development, and the possible problems and the policies.Finally the author points out that the adult higher education is important to our nation higher education as well as the society development. So adult higher education should be reformed and developed without delay, which is a long term work with the society development.
