In The New Period,the Status And Development Of Adult College’s Ideological And Political Education

In China, adult education is an important part in higher learning institution.It not only has the characteristics of general universities, but also has its own uniqueness.Adult education appears diversified in higher education form, multi-leveled in specifications, and complicated in student source,which has increased its complexity. Because of these aspects we’ve mentioned, there is not only a same side but also many of its own unique features between the ideological and political education in adult colleges and ideological and political education in general colleges and universities.I have been working at the Jiangxi Institute of Education for five years.During these years, I have accumulated a lot of experience and feeling on the adult education.I also has some experience about ideological and political education. This paper describes adult higher education in China in recent years as well as some changes and problems in ideological and political education in adult colleges; According to the present situation and problems in ideological and political education in adult colleges, some methods and ways of improvement have been put forward. This paper follows the basic ideas of analyzing and solving problems, doing researches about the article in turn.Firstly, the article analyzes the development situation of the ideological and political education in the new period, on the one hand, it affirmed the flourish of Adult ideological and political education career since the reform and opening up, it confirmed that the ideological and political education has played a positive role in promoting the socialist modernization. At the same time, it also pointed out explicitly that there are many kinds of problems in the Adult Ideological and political education, such as protection mechanisms are lacking in Adult Ideological and Political Education, much importance are not attached in ideological, political education, the contents and means are not able to keep up with the pace of the development of the times,mechanism of ideological and political education are not sound, the quality of the team in ideological and political education are not so high and so on. Among them, the most important issue also includes adult college development bottlenecks and the relative instability of the development of adult college, these problems have led to the weak and marginalized of the Adult ideological and political education, which is not consistent with the "image" that ideological and political education is the ideology guarantee of the development of the adult college.Secondly, the article analyzes the importance and necessity of the development of Adult Ideological and Political Education in the New Period. The article suggests that moving with times, promoting the adult college ideological and political education development is the call of the times as well as the inevitable demand of socialist development in the new period. In the new period, both the domestic and international environment have changed dramatically. For external factors, economic globalization, the political situation portfolio differentiation, cultural imperialism and so on threatens a dramatic upheaval in the ideological and political education; For internal factors, the new change in the ideas which was caused by the social change put forward specific requirements to the ideological and political education innovation.Lastly, the paper proceeds from reality and researches the specific ideas of the development and innovation of the ideological and political education in the new period. At the same time, it studys from the three aspects such as the realistic demand, characteristics, the direction of development, it put forward that adult college system of ideological and political education need to make efforts to innovate the system that meet their own development both in theory and practice. In the form of education, we should have the courage to break the campus Center and Textbook knowledge theory, then socialized the means of education gradually. After that, by means of creating a good social environment, and fully mobilizing the ideological and political enthusiasm in the subject of education, we build the education system of social network actively, strengthen the education system of ideological and political development, perfect the mechanism of ideological and political education. Therefore, it forms a new dynamic and innovative mechanisms for the adult college ideological and political education at lastly.
