With the deepening of the basic education curriculum reform in our country, it is constantly to improve the quality of primary and secondary school teacher. Normal students who as school teachers reserve army are positively correlated with the quality requirements of the community,and they need to have good ability of teaching practice to own knowledge into students. Normal university which is as to cultivate students’ main positions, must undertake to cultivate qualified students and improve their teaching ability. But in terms of reality, it is insufficient that normal university makes students the problems existing in teaching practice ability and it cannot yet be consistent with the pace of the elementary education reform and development. It need to further improving teaching practice ability and the cultivation of the students’ education need to be further improved.In this study, 380 college students of a normal school in Shandong Province are as investigation object, aiming at the cultivation of practical ability in normal school and teaching practice ability of students to achieve the status quo investigation. Through the survey found that the normal school in training undergraduate students teaching practice ability has made many efforts to enhance the ability of the students largely. However, due to many aspects of the school in terms of culture, there are some less than normal students, these deficiencies mainly reflected in: fewer practice, internship time is short, fewer independent lectures; teaching practice setting and implementation are imperfect; lacking of diverse culture and mode approaches; lacking of communication between College teachers and practice school teachers in instructing teaching ability and so on. To solve these problems, normal school should be according to their own conditions, by improving the teacher education curriculum system, strengthening the weakness of students’ teaching practice ability, enriching teaching methods and other ways to strengthen the construction to improve normal students’ practical ability and offer the reference for other similar schools at the same time.This study is divided into the following five parts:The first part is the introduction, this part introduces the reason of selected topic and the significance, the definition of core concepts, literature review and research ideas and methods.The second part explains the connotation of the teaching practice and the ability to structure,including instructional design capability, teaching ability and capacity development in three aspects.The third part is the questionnaire of the establishment, implementation and analysis of the data. It describes the theoretical basis for the preparation of the questionnaire and questionnaire specific implementation, and survey data obtained overall analysis.The fourth part is the normal teaching practice ability analysis of the problem.The fifth part presents the corresponding countermeasures for the current students’ teaching ability problems in practice.
