Electro-acupuncture Treatment Of Post-stroke Anxiety Depressive Disorder Clinical Efficacy Observed

Post stroke depression(PSD) and Post stroke anxiety disorder(PSAD) is the commonly encountered complication of stroke.The typical symptoms of PSAD are anxiety,poor concentration and anorexia.The typical symptoms of PSD are depressing emotion,activity decrease,and sluggish ideation.At present,the antidepressants and antianxiety drugs in western medicine have many defects including slower effect,side-effect,expensive price and so on.By contrast, acupuncture has evident advantages for PSD and PSAD treatment and deferment.This thesis includes literature review and clinical study.The essay reviews the research development on PSAD and PSD in traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine,including its pathogenesis,and medical treatment.Objective To Compare the clinical treatment effect of electroacupuncture and Paroxeti treatment for PSAD and PSD.Methods Thirty-nine patients are randomly divided into two groups.The treatment group was given electroacupuncture(EA) therapy while the control was given Paroxeti,Prozac after 4 weeks,evaluate the results bystatistical analysis.Results①Clinical PSD treatment effect outcomes were assess ed using HAMD. There was no significant diference betwen Paroxeti group and EA group on cent reduce rate of HAMD(P＞0.05).②Clinical PSAD treatment effect outcomes were assessed using HAMA.There was no significant diference betwen Paro-xeti group and EA group on cent reduce rate of HAMA(P＞0.05).③At the same time,the EA group had less side—effects than the Paroxeti group.and the Efficacy index(EI) score was worse in Paroxeti group than in EA group in both PSAD and PSD treatment(P＜0.01).④the clinical therapeutic of EA was obvious while no apparently difference between PSD treatment and PSD treatment was found. (P＞0.05)⑤as the cent reduce rate of barthel index(BI) improved,the cent reduce rate of HAMA also improved.⑥The related factors of PSD severity included age, marriage,average family income and education level.And the related factors of PSAD severity included sex,age,marriage,average family income and education level.
