Objective: The anus posterior view cuniculus drainage for ischiorectal abscess have been used for many years in Anorectal Hospital in Chengdu. The aim of this study is to compare the clinical results obtained with the radiated multi-cut draining and the anus posterior view cuniculus drainage in the surgical management of ischiorectal abscess.Method: Review the 118 cases of hospital patients with ischiorectal abscess from September 2005 to October 2007.The patients treated with the anus posterior view cuniculus drainage is the test group(n=36) and the radiated multi-cut draining patients is the control group(n=82). Compared patients with basic situation and the general curative effect, the healing time, the postoperative pain, the size of postoperative scar, fecal incontinence, the patient satisfaction and the recurrence after operation. Then analyze with statistical software SPSS13.0 Statistical significance was accepted as P <0.05.Results: There was no difference in the general curative effect, fecal incontinence, the recurrence after operation and secondary fistula. But there are prominence differences (P<0.05) in the healing time, the size of postoperative scar, the patient satisfaction. But the control group is better in the postoperative(P>0.05).Concludes: The treatment of the anus posterior view cuniculus drainage can effectively protect perianal sphincter, maintain anal shape and lessen postoperative scar. It can not only radically cure ischiorectal abscess, but also maintain the shape and function of anus. It is a reasonable operation of the treatment for ischiorectalabscess.
