Objective: To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the dentate line preserving suspend transfixion and excision dissection in the surgical management of mixed hemorrhoids.Methods: 72 patients with mixed hemorrhoids were divided into two groups with randomized and single—blinded method. The study group (36 cases) was treated with the dentate line preserving suspend transfixion and excision dissection and the control group(36 cases) was treated with the approach of stripping off the varicose masses of the external hemorrhoid and transfixion, injection the internal. The treatment effects and complications were compared between the two groups.Results: Score on symptom was lower in the study group than before treatment. The treated effect of the two groups was not different (P< 0.05 ) .Prevent postoperative anus pain in the study group were obviously better than that in the control group(P<0.05). The hospital duration, wound healing time,time of operation in the two groups had significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:The dentate line preserving suspend transfixion and excision dissection was an effective, postoperative painless treatment.
