Object: This trial was designed to explore the efficacy of combined treatment through random consecutive trial fortwo groups of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.Methods: 68 cases were divided randomly into two groups: a experiment group were given cervical vertebra traction, massage, Traditional Chinese medicine treatment and The function takes exercise ; a controlled group were given manipulation treatment.After treatments their results were evaluated with MPQ and symptom一function scores.Result: The results suggested that there were statistical differences between the two groups. Of the controlled cases were excellent6, good 13, moderate 10 and poor 5; the experimented excellent 12, good 15, moderate 5, poor 2, with P<0.05 comparatively statistic significance.Conclusion: The present trail indicates that both combined therapy and the manipulation therapy have beneficial effect on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. In addition, the former one was more significant in therapeutic effection and plays coordinated roles of therapies, improves and strengthens effection.
