Object: This trial was designed to explore the efficacy of combined treatment through random consecutive trial for two groups of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy .Methods: 55 cases were divided randomly into two groups: a controlled group were given acupuncture treatment; a experiment group were given cervical vertebra traction, acupuncture, massage and TDP therapy . After treatments their results were evaluated with MPQ and symptom - function scores .Result: The results suggested that there were statistical differences between the two groups. Of the controlled cases were excellent6, good 9, moderate 6 and poor 2; the experimented excellent 9 , good 12 .moderate 4 , poor 2 , with P<0.05 comparatively statistic significance.Conclusion: The present trail indicates that both combined therapy and the acupuncture therapy have beneficial effect on cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. In addition, the former one was more significant in therapeutic effection and plays coordinated roles of therapies, improves and strengthens effection.
