Objective1.To investigate basic situation of sensory integrative dysfunction (SID) in pre-school children who entered for sensory integrative treameat, and to study relations between sensory integration and behavior problems , temperament, neuropsychological development, along with dangerous factors of sensory integrative dysfunction.2.To discuss influences the of different temperament , blood-lead, hair-magnesium, hair-zinc, hair-copper on sensory integrative treatment, and improve effects of sensory integrative therapies, accordingly to provide a basis for preventing SID and abnormal behavior problems efficiently.Methods62 preschool children whose age were 3~5 years old and who were recruited from a kindergarten of Taiyuan were entered for sensory integrative treameat voluntarily by way of placarding posters and holding a course of lectures for free. They were measured with Binet Intelligence Scale, Sensory Integrative Test Scale, Behavior Checklist, Parent Temperament Questionnaire, Family Environments Survey and Neuropsychological indexes. 30 children of SID among them then attended sensory integrative treatment for three months long, and they were received blood-lead, hair-magnesium, hair-zinc, hair-copper tests freewillly. After intervention, the Sensory Integrative Test Scale, Behavior Checklist, Neuropsychological items were tested again.Results1.Basic situation and factors of SID :①Children of SID with behavior problems were more than children with non-behavior problems. There was negative correlation between sensory integration and behavior problems.②There were more difficult temperament children in serious SID. Their scores of every sensory integration item was lower than normal value, difficult temperament manifested as tactile defensiveness. The scores of the SID were significantly lower than those of normal children in their rhythmicity and quality of reaction. But the scores of the SID were significantly higher than those of normal children in intensity of reaction. There was significant correlation between sensory integration and some dimensionalities of temperament.③The average time of visual reaction, hearing reaction, visual selection and attention...
