Objective:1.To investigate and research the occurrence of sensory integration dysfunction of the preschoolchildren between 3 and 5 in a kindergarten in Taiyuan, their living environment and adversefactors during pregnancy ,and to explore the influencing factors of sensory integrationdysfunction, for providing a theoretical basis of preventing the occurrence of sensory integrationdysfunction.2 . By assessment to the neuropsychological function and behavior problems before and after theintervention of children of sensory integration dysfunction, analysis in-depth the relationshipamong the , neuropsychological development and behavior problems of preschool children, explore the method of changing the ability of sensory integration in short term.Subjects and methods:1.Survey:321 children aged 3 to 5 from a kindergarten in Taiyuan were investigated with clustersampling. Questionnaires include general condition, sensory integration, behavior problems .According to the purpose of research,60 cases of children with SID and 30 cases of normalchildren were selected at random . The children were tested by psychological experiments ofnerve using PES system, focus attention on capacity tester measure.2.Investigation experiment:The 60 selected students were divided into sensory integrationdysfunction intervention group (n=30) and control group (n=30). comprehensive interventionwas given to intervention group for 2 months, while the control group without any intervention.Specific interventions are as follows. Sensory integration training: training 4 or 5 times a week, about 1.5 hours each training, 30 times in total. With targeted training,"3.3.3 ... a series ofintelligent learning"was used as a vector. Each training was about 0.5 hours. After intervention, sensory integration development check table, Children's Behavior Questionnaire, eightneuropsychological items were tested again.Results:1. The occurrence rate of sensory integration dysfunction of preschool children was 38.00%,ofwhich mild disorders was 25.50%,and 12.50% rate of severe disorders.2. The main factors of Sensory Integration Dysfunction were 8 items: the average daily sleeptime, age, mother's education level, the average time of watching television per day, snoringfrequency, pregnancy mood and child abuse. 3. The attention of static time 1min,Rotation time of 1 min attention, Rotation time of 3minattention,visual reaction time, visual choice reaction time, visual discrimination reaction timeof disorder group and the normal group of children were statistically significant. Sensoryintegration dysfunction and neuropsychological tests were significantly correlated.4. The incidence of Sensory Integration Dysfunction with behavior problems was significantlyhigher than those in no behavioral problems. Sensory integration ability and behavior problemswere significantly negatively correlated.5. Evaluations of interventions effectiveness:â‘ The sensory integration ability of children in intervention group was significantly improved:the vestibular balance, proprioception, tactile defensiveness of children in the intervention groupwere significantly higher the control group after the intervention, regression analysis alsoshowed the intervention was effective.â‘¡Number of behavior problems of children in the intervention group were significantlyimproved: the learning problems, impulsivity - hyperactivity, anxiety, hyperactivity index scoresof two groups after the intervention were significantly lower than before ,which explained thatlearning problems, impulsivity hyperactivity, anxiety and hyperactivity behaviors have beenimproved.â‘¢Some neuropsychological indices of children in intervention group had improved: theattention of static time 1min,Rotation time of 1 min attention, Rotation time of 3min attention, visual reaction time, visual choice reaction time, visual discrimination reaction time hadimproved significantly.ConclusionConclusion:1. Sensory integration dysfunction pre-school children, especially rate of severe disorders israther high ,which is noteworthy child development issue.2. Average daily sleep time, age, mother education level, the average time per day watchingtelevision, snoring frequency, pregnancy mood, climb, children abuse have an effects on sensoryintegration ability of children.3. Sensory integration dysfunction and children's neuropsychological development wasnegatively closely related in a certain level, and the internal mechanism needs further study.4. Sensory integration dysfunction is closely related with child behavior problems.5. the development of sensory integration ability and neuropsychological development ofchildren can be promoted, and behavior problems can be reduced through the intervention.
