ObjectiveRectocele is a hackneyed illness for middle and old women which can brings constipation. It is difficult to cure in coloproctological department, so it is always the focus for coloproctological surgeons to research into. Many methods are used in curing it, for example, by the way of anus or cunt or perineum et al. All of these methods are used to remedy and strengthen the feeble recta-cunt partition. However, each of these therapies has its own limitation. Some operations are complicated, some can bring a lot of complications and some long-dated curative effect is unsure. For finding a simple and effectual therapy, we introduced a new method—suture, injection, side-cutting and drinking water. We designed an experiment to compare it with the method that single injecting XIAOZHILING injection. The objective was to estimate the feasibility and reliability of the new method and probe into its mechanism. MethodsThere are 62 cases totally in the experiment which were divided into tested group (32cases) and contrastive group (30cases) at random. The tested group were treated with the new method— suture, injection, side-cutting and drinking water. The contrastive group were given the routine surgical therapy-- single injecting XIAOZHILING injection. After operation, to evaluate which was better, we observed the postoperative complications they bring, the shitting state of the first time, postoperative 1week, 1month, 2months, 6months and the effect of evacuation proctography in 6months later and etc. ResultsThere are no static significance in the complications and the shitting state of the first time, postoperative lweek, lmonth between the two groups (P>0.05) , but there was notable difference in the shitting state of the postoperative 2months and 6months and the effect of evacuation proctography in 6months later (p<0.05) ,which showed that tested group had more obvious advantages in the middle-dated and long-dated curative effect than contrastive group. ConclusionsApplication of the new method— suture, injection, side-cutting and drinking water reveals that it is simple in manipulation, reliable and satisfactory in theraeputive results. The new surgical operation combines the traditional and western medicine and which assimilates their advantages. So it has great clinical value and social effects.
