Foreign Nursing is a edged and emerging major which requires students to achieve international English standard.This major is also involved in its interconection with the international nursing educaiton. Due to its initial stage, Foreign Nursing still demands more efforts and solving actual existing problems. To perfect this major and cultivate more nurses up to the international standard,In the process of course setting ,teaching and management ,we also need to summarize gradually and learn favorable experience from others .Aiming at some current existing problems in the development of the foreign nursing which exist in the writer's work unit and other representative vocational health schools in Shenyang, this paper investigated them deeply. On the basis of the reference to relevant document literatures and comprehensive analysis on the questionnaire as well as interview results, this paper summarized feasible and effective solution to these problems and offered references to the development of foreign nursing education in Shenyang.Through one year's hard work, the writer of this essay has got a relatively clear picutre about the current situation of the Foreign Nursing education in the vocational health schools in Shenyang.and has initially found out some problems in it . For example,First-grade students are blind to this major and have poor academic records;There is controversy between English courses and nursing courses; The Training before taking the IELTS exam can not link up with the internatinal standard;Teaching force is relatively weak ; Economic condition could not meet the standard;There are still some diffculties to engage in nursing work after going aboard.Besides,based on the results of research and advanced theory on the development of Foreign Nursing from the experts and scholars both at home and aboard, I has come up with my own opinions on the development of the Foreign Nursing in Shenyang Traditional Chinese Medical School. My Suggestions of strengthening the construction of foreign nursing major in Health Schools in Shenyang are as follows:Enhance the Humanities Quality Education, and Cultivate social practical talent;Set courses properly and eliminate the adverse affect of the English intesive training on the study of nursing course;Stimulate the English learning potential of the students and help them build confidence to learn English;Perfect the construction of the eaching staff for foreign nursing major and carry out the teaching reform;Provide the foreign nursing major with human-oriented management and arouse students subjective initiative and study incentive;Have a good knowledge about the requirement and condition of nursing jobs abroad and avoid going abroad blindly. I hope that the research in this essay will not only offer theoretical evidence but also reference and enlightenment to the development of Foreign Nursing in the vocational health schools in Shenyang and then promote the its progress .I believe that the developmet of foreign nursing in the vocaltional health schools in t Shenyang will be better and better.
