The increasingly growing health demands of citizens require the society to build high-standard and high-quality health care environment along with the construction of a well-off society in an all-round way in China.Meanwhile,the state pushes forward the development of nursing care and vocational education aggressively,and promotes the cultivation of applied pluralistic nursing talents in order to meet the health demand of citizens'.At present,students major in nursing at secondary vocational schools still fail to meet the requirements of social medical services in terms of professional demeanor,low in employment competitiveness,and unable to meet the demands of pluralistic nursing talent market.The author does research on the status quo investigation of the professional demeanor of students that major in nursing at secondary vocational schools,and puts forward to corresponding cultivation strategies on the basis of the actual situation of students who major in secondary vocational nursing at Hui Health Sciences Polytechnic.Centered on The Outline of National Nursing Planning(2016-2020)and Nurses Ordinance,this study divides the professional demeanor of students that major in nursing at secondary vocational schools into three research dimensions which are vocational cognition,professional ethics and vocational ability,and ten research items.Among them,the investigation and research on the dimension of vocational cognition are centered on basic theory knowledge,specialized nursing knowledge and laws and regulations knowledge to carry out;on the dimension of professional ethics,on high-quality nursing service awareness,awareness of caring and awareness of observing professional norms to carry out;and on the dimension of vocational ability,on nurse-patient communication competence,clinical practice ability,ability to solve problems and teamwork ability to carry out.Through releasing 635 self-made Questionnaires on the Status Quo of the Professional Demeanor of Students that Major in Nursing at Secondary Vocational Schools and interviewing with ten teachers and students at random,the author collects various data,learns about the professional demeanor situation of students that major in nursing at secondary vocational schools,dissects the current problems existing in the professional demeanor situation of the students,and puts forward to corresponding suggestions and countermeasures,thus providing reference for the cultivation of students' professional demeanor.As found in the study,there exist problems in three levels in the status quo of the professional demeanor of students that major in nursing at secondary vocational schools.Firstly at the level of vocational cognition,there exist specialized nursing knowledge out of step with clinical practice,the uncoordinated influence of different teachers upon specialized nursing knowledge,shallow vocational cognition,and other problems.Secondly at the level of professional ethics,there exist high-quality nursing service awareness necessary to be improved,nursing action with no expression to awareness of caring,differences existing in the influences of different educating groups upon the professional ethics and demeanor of students,etc..Thirdly at the level of vocational ability,there exist insufficient communication competence,the influence of hospital-level factors upon the cultivation of professional ability and quality,the neglected cultivation of comprehensive professional demeanor,and other problems.In view of the existing problems of vocational nursing students' professional quality in the current situation,the following countermeasures and Suggestions can be considered:Firstly,in the aspect of vocational cognition accomplishment,students should be guided to have a reasonable cognition of their careers in various ways.Teachers' resources should be allocated reasonably to promote their knowledge coordination and influence,and to increase the opportunities of clinical practice to promote the application of knowledge practice;Secondly,in terms of professional ethics,we should improve the awareness of quality nursing service by providing high-quality environmental practices,cultivate the consciousness of caring through the construction of campus humanistic care environment,and cultivate the spirit of prudence by strengthening the construction of medical ethics;Thirdly,in terms of professional competence and quality,we can comprehensively improve professional competence and quality by enriching communication in classroom teaching,building affiliated hospitals to promote the integration of industry and education,and fully carrying out PBL teaching in clinical practice.
