Along with knowledge economy times is coming, human resource's functionin the economic development is more and more important, competition betweenenterprises further manifests competition of person with ability. Moreover, along withfarther development of economic reforming, floating of human resource in China ismore and more frequent.Private enterprises show their strength and drive to people, from its stumblingbeginning in the crevice of planned economy to becoming the important share of ournational economy. Private enterprises welcome their spring of development withgradual establishment of the status of nonpublic-owned economy. Private enterprisesstill face a lot of fierce challenges, especially in the management of the humanresource, though they are in the era full of changes. Therefore, how to develop andmanage the human resource sensibly and effectively becomes an important taskbefore every private enterprise in the times when science and technology becomes thedominant factor in the development of economy and society.This paper analyses human resource management characteristics of privateenterprise, discuss importantly existent problems and reasons, and research on how toimprove. Base on the research of previous persons, this paper analyses the relationbetween human resource management and enterprise competition ability. It provesthat valid human resource management can promote enterprise competition abilityfrom the both side of theories and practice. And establish the model about themechanism between human resource management and enterprise competition ability——link control model. It analyses completely the problems that exist in the humanresource management of private enterprises and gives some suggestions relatively inthe following text.
