Design And Implementation Of Web-based University Office Management System

With the reform of the university personnel system, the university office management has been gradually transformed to the human resource management and development. Therefore, in the fierce competition, in which universities seek survivals and developments, it will be crucial of the ability to provide the scientific manpower to the creation of an excellent teaching and research environment. In such background, the WEB-based university office management system is developed according to the Shenyang University's office management mode.In this thesis, this system adopts the ASP.NET technology as programming technology and SQL Server 2000 as the database system. The system has diverse functions such as personnel information system management, professional title Information management, the labor information management, social security information management, education and accreditation information of works management, information publishing management, etc. Therefore this system meets the demand of university offices.This thesis first expounds the development background of the office management system, and analyzes the demands on the system, and discusses the establishment of the logical model and data model, in particular, the function design and the database design of the system are given in detail. In the part of system implementation, methods are introduced about how to implement each module of the system. Finally, an objective evaluation of the system is made by carrying out an all-round system testing, and a scheme of optimization is put forward considering the defects of the system detected in the testing in this thesis.
