Automated Storage & Retrieval System is an electromechanical product of high-technology, which is a combination of information, storage and management. It is paid more and more attention, because it is of saving labor force, decreasing logistics costs. These will certainly bring the huge economic efficiency to the industry and enterprise. How to raise AS/SR working efficiency is a very important research subjection to researcher in china and abroad.In the paper, the warehouse constitution and method of movement are surveyed completely. The current principle of take stock is analyzed thoroughly also. Since the operation of take stock has all sorts of abuses at present, using LCD display the name and surplus quantity of commodities is designed. The system replaces stacker by electronic tag at making an inventory of goods in a warehouse. The PC transmits information of commodities to electronic tag using wireless way. The people only need inspect whether the actual quantity is same with electronic tag demonstrated and complete a storage space so. In this way, people could greatly enhance efficiency of making an inventory of goods in a warehouse.The stacker crane which is the most significant loader equipment is the heart of automated warehouse. The superiority of automated warehouse must be able to embody through it. The walking speed and control precision is the most important target to show the advantage of stacker. Firstly through carefully research, we propose the improved projection to situation control and location measure control. We analyze several kinds of orientation and select a new control method which could adopt laser distance measuring. From technical aspect, it not only enhances system's reliability and speed, but also increases the location accuracy. Secondly we adopt a new method in stacker's moving control. By means of comparing many kinds of algorithms, an advanced fuzzy control is designed for stacker's moving. The result of simulation shows that the stacker's moving is of high-speed response, accuracy position and intelligence. These enhance working efficiency and reduce the time of circulation enormously.
