As data warehouse technology developed maturely, OLAP technology of assistant decision-making oriented also achieved considerable progress. In this situation, many foreign data warehouse suppliers discover their own OLAP product in succession, however, the majority of them binding data warehouse, which result in more dependence and lacking of general business adaptability. Nowadays, domestic OLAP software mostly bases on foreign OLAP engine and only develops OLAP systems in a specific area, not supports other business areas.In response to this situation, this paper designs a dynamic OLAP platform (DPOLAP) model combined both software Agent development concept and platform technology. DPOLAP model is made up by four layers: data layer, service layer, management layer and application layer. The data layer organizes multidimensional data model by XML, stores detail data by relational database, as well as provides other layers with data support; The service layer organizes platform dynamically by agent service, which can divide into three types: management scheduling Agent, OLAP manipulation Agent and tool Agent. They are responsible for managing function in DPOLAP, carrying out query analysis of OLAP and assisting DPOLAP to run normally, respectively. The management layer makes overall planning to the whole DPOLAP function by modular management mode; The application layer is in charge of organizing application example oriented different business.At the same time, this paper also researches on agent communication under DPOLAP, registration mechanism and packaging of legacy systems.Finally, combined with China railway supervision' s business demand, OLAP system of application example oriented supervision profession is developed successfully under the guiding of DPOLAP model and provided strong support for subject-oriented analysis and decision making in the railway supervision industry.
