IP Phone is a new communications product, which is mainly based on SIP protocol, as represented by a series of network communication protocol to achieve. IP Phone with its feature-rich applications, a simple environment to build, especially in extremely low-cost call tariffs, favored by many corporations has within its range of market. However, as regular IP Phone features integrated into the hardware, so the function is single and unable to adapt to an increasingly rich clients business needs. In this case, IP Phone systems started to use XML technology to provide a wide range of phone features to extend the application functionality on IP phones.XML means Extensible Markup Language, it is a system for storing and transmitting data and information technology. Based on analysis of XML technology for the advantages of IP Phone, give details of the design and implementation of XML services, and how to subscribe and use the phone on the XML service and service management and commissioning of the XML approach. In more detail the application of XML service function mode, IP phone XML services on the specific implementation conducted in-depth study and implementation.Research has focused on XML technology and IP phones to their own advantages and disadvantages for each other with their respective characteristics, and XML service applications can achieve the effects of the specific elaboration. Flexible use of XML features provides a wide range of services, in order to enrich the content of phone features.
