The Study On Functional Model Of Children's Health Information System

Objective:To establish the professional and functional model of children's health information system based on regional health information platform, and to explore the method to structure the related models.Methods:By analyzing work flow and professional activities of children's health, literature review and expert council and verification methods, we acknowledge the professional needs of children's health and lay off the functional boundary of information system clearly based on theory of information resource planning. At the same time, we analysis the main functional needs and describe the system function more accurate by applying use case analysis technique. To establish the professional and functional model which could meet requirement of regional health informatization and health file construction basically, and on the other hand, could optimize the operation flow.Results:1. At one special region, many different level and category medical health organs offer children's health service. Every medical health organs could offer different health and medical services and play different roles. Service providers were described clearly by combining service institution and roles.2. We find fifteen women and children's health services which included in five categories from eight categories twenty-eight professional activities which extracted from health related professional activities on'Program of technological solutions for Regional Health Information Network building based on health record'. Then they were integrated with related services and the meaningful children's health professional activities were developed.3. To analysis the relationship between children's health professional activities and medical health organs, which should contribute to establishing professional model and explicit the range of application of women and children's health information system.4. Describing the relation of professional cooperation and information sharing between children's health information system and other relative professional utility system after explicating professional activities related flow path.5. Explicating children's health professional activities which need to interactive with other information at regional health information platform after meeting require of health file structure and work synergism.6. We analysis system function of every professional work subsystem corresponding to children's health work needs.7. By use case analysis method, we analysis children's health work needs and functional needs, and then, establish professional and functional model of children's health based on UML.Conclusion:the experts demonstrated that the functional model coincident with children's health professional work. It should meet the require of children's health service and be of practicability and maneuverability. It made a solid base for establishing the network and information sharing system between children's health information system and other relative professional utility system. The results made enough prepare for subsequent establishing of children's health information system.
