Changes In The Virtual Fan Group

As the development of media, a large number of fans appeared in china. And the"fans group"has become the latest area of the communication research. However, the objective of domestic "fans" research is relatively narrow, the most attention is the "idol fan", while the "TV fans" which takes important position are less discussed. Although "fans" research pay attention to the impact of the Internet, but little attention is paid to the virtual "fan group" article. And scholars in the study "fan group" were more commonly used when the static method of the study, very few changes in a dynamic perspective to take an interest in the virtual "fan group".To compensate for these shortcomings, this paper takes the dynamic perspective, makes"America TV fans"as the research object, selects the"Prison Break"Baidu posted bar as a research field and uses the methods with the combination of qualitative and quantitative to study the virtual"fan group"under changes. In this paper, we first make an analysis of the content, through the comparison of"fan group"in different time periods, to get the general situation of virtual "fan group" from the perspective of the quantity posted, post topics and the number of posters. Then, we select the representative members from the"fan group"as the research object, and make a deepen talk to understand the psychological emotional changes. Finally, by selecting the representative posts, we make the study through the textual analysis with the aim to discover the specific systems and ways maintaining the virtual"fan group".Through the study of this paper we find that the changing virtual"fan Group"is under recession to some extent, while it still keeps a high level of activities. Its attraction to "fans" does not disappear with the end of the story and"fan group" still exists. Among them, the emotional fascination and recognition of the fans as individual members become the important psychological factor to maintain the group. And this emotion recognition and fascination make the maintaining and passing come true through the memories created by interaction and ritual activities.Through this study, we have a better understanding of the overall situation of the changing virtual "fan group", make the further study of the psychological changes to the fans and we have a try to analyze the inner maintaining system of fans. All of these contribute to the future study of Fans Group both in research method and theory to a certain degree.
