Wireless sensor network (WSN) is concerned as the new hotspot of research and application now.With modern agriculture production to intelligence and scale development direction, wireless sensor network technology and fieldbus technology used in industrial areas are applied to measurement and control field of the greenhouse, which improve the quality and efficiency of agricultural production.This paper puts forward the network communication system based on ZigBee and CAN bus ,which includes ZigBee wireless sensor network, CAN bus network and gateway for data transmission and protocol conversion. The compact connection of ZigBee wireless sensor network and the CAN bus network is realized,and the system is applied in greenhouse control of temperature and humidity.Wireless sensor network technology and fieldbus technology are researched by this paper.The characteristics, principle and network protocol of ZigBee and CAN technology are Introduced. Then the communication network system is confirmed. The paper designs and builds the hardware of gateway node and wirelessnode.The core of gateway node is MC9S12XDP512 microprogrammed control unit(MCU) , and the other two necessary parts are ZigBee transceiver module CC2420 and CAN transceiver module MCP2551.The core of mobile node is also MC9S12XDP512, and the other two necessary parts are ZigBee transceiver module CC2420 and sensor module.This paper the gateway system communication software in application layer.The paper completes the gateway node design of the communication software in application layer. Gateway function is embodied in conversion of two kinds of data frame format.The software includes three parts,which are ZigBee communication,CAN bus communication and conversion of data transmission protocols.When the communication system design of hardware and software are completed, the system is tested through the simulation data,and the analysis of test data and experiments results verifies feasibility and better performances of the system design. The paper designs the network communication system based on ZigBee and CAN bus ,which cost is low and date transmission reliability is high. The system can be applied in the agricultural greenhouse measure and control field conveniently.
