With the development of wireless communication technology,the communication way between instrument and RTU is gradually becoming ZigBee from RS485 in the digital oil field.There are many communication protocols between the RTU and the host computer softerware,such as Modbus protocol,A11 protocol and some protocols made by manufacturers,thus,equipments and softwares from different manufacturers can not communicate directly.In order to solve the above problems,this paper has developed the communication protocol program of wireless instrument gateway on the basis of studying various protocols.Firstly,the communication status of digital oilfield is investigated,at the same time,the function requirements of communication protocol of wireless instrument gateway,the principle of multi-protocol conversion and the overall design scheme of the system are expounded.Then using C language achive the function of the Modbus protocol,ZigBee program and IEC104 protocol after introducing the Modbus protocol,ZigBee protocol and IEC104 protocol.And achieves the function of multi-protocol conversion through setting Buffer,completed the development work of wireless instrument gateway communication protocol program.Finally,using the C# language developes a simple RTU debugging software in the VS2010 development environment to verify the correctness of multi-protocol conversion.The experimental results show that the system can correctly receive and store the data from wireless instrument through the ZigBee send to RTU,and can complete multi-protocol conversion.Through the test,the system can to meet the basic needs and running stable.
