Analysis And Design Of Guangdong Unicom Construction Project Management System

Communication project management is a tough task that has been puzzling Guangdong Unicom for some time. The previous way of manual registration of projects is not a good solution to the problem. This problem can only be solved in a better way by means of the use of computerized platform. This thesis starts from requirement analysis of communication project management, and then progressively studies and analyzes the system design of the communication project management system.The thesis firstly makes use of logical tree analysis methodology and process analysis methodology to analyze the requirements of project management process of communication infrastructure projects of Guangdong Unicom. Secondly, the relevant processes are refined and adapted so as to lay the solid foundation for addressing the actual demand in a better way. Thirdly, the use of more technologically advanced and up-to-date development platform of Visual Studio.NET, combined with the widely deployed SQL Server 2005 database as well as C/S and B/S three-tier model, can help to meet the computerization requirements of project management of communication infrastructure projects of Guangdong Unicom. This will further improve the work efficiency.The thesis has successfully optimized the original communication project management processes of Guangdong Unicom. And it also has helped to guide the development of corresponding computerized platform-Guangdong Unicom Project Management System.Currently, this system has been used in the project management of China Unicom Guangdong branch office and has achieved good actual results.
