The Network Managemnet System(NMS) is a software system administrating computer network, equipment, software, etc. Its main functions include performance management, configuring management, fault management, billing management and security management. The Integration Network Management System(INMS) is a synthesis system based on each specialized network management system, utilizing standardized interfaces, to realize the centralized managemnet and analysis of data of each specialized network management system. This paper studies the key issues of INMS, through theories and practices. Based on the research of basic concept of Telecommunication Managemnet Network(TMN),the paper has studied the characteristic and function of Intelgrated Network Management System(INMS) of telecommunication. With the practical situation, the paper elaborated the principle of design and overall structural design about INMS. In the meanwhile this paper elaborated the design of configuration management subsystem and explains in detail the process design of each module. Configuration management subsystem to provide configuration data acquisition, calibration, merger, edit, filing, convert, and comprehensive network management system operation, are all configuration data management platform. The configuration management subsystem is combained with resource date collection module, date calibration module, date merger module etc. With all the modules mutual cooperation it realize the configuration management of INMS.Finally it summarized the system running situationMoreover and forecasts the tendency of the development of the INMS.
