Research And Design On Shaanxi Electric Power Telecommunication Integrated Network Management System

Under decades of years'construction, the Shaanxi Electric Power Corporation has formed a huge telecommunication network, and now has built the PSTN, Fiber Transportation Network, Data communication Network, Computer Telecommunication Network and supporting networks, etc. Facing the fast-change markets, Electric Power Telecommunication Corporations need a set of Integrated Network Management System (INMS), which can fully manage all the equipments on the network.This thesis first studies the current status and management demands of electric power communication system, and then points out the necessity to build the INMS and the designing object. Subsequently, the functional architecture frame of INMS, which provides suggestion for construction of INMS, is designed according to the concept of TMN (Telecommunication Management Network) and the specific circumstances in Shaanxi province. Meanwhile selection method of key techniques and system interface are also studied in this article. Finally, the architecture of both the hardware and software framework of the whole system is studied, which lays a foundation for system implementation.
