Design And Development Of Versatile Course Web Based On Xml And Java

With the development of network technology, network teaching has become an important teaching method and the development direction, having the significant and far-reaching influence on the whole education structure. To adapt to the teaching development, network teaching system is established on the basis above. The main purpose of this paper is to design a teaching website of universal course based on XML and JAVA.By analyzing the application of network teaching at home and abroad, based on the need of establishing a large number of course websites for our college's participating in the provincial assessment programs, this paper designs and establishes a universal course website system. The research mainly includes the following items:(1) The paper is to find the main essential contents of course website by studying the elite course websites of famous universities at home and abroad. On the basis above the study summarizes the main teaching contents of our college's teaching websites according to the characteristics of vocational colleges(2) The paper is to investigate XML technology. The teaching contents of course websites should be recorded with XML documents and Chinese marks. In this way, our college's teachers can fill in XML documents by referring to the Chinese marks.(3) This paper is to study Java programming language and the design techniques of general teaching websites. Through the design and development of the Java language program, parsing and reading the XML documents of teaching contents, and then converting into HTML pages, disposing to the corresponding directory of the web server directly, we develop the teaching websites of the relevant courses.The thesis's research achievements mainly consist of the following two points:(1) The paper designs a general framework for network teaching sites, and gives the corresponding realization by the way of the content-control-separating from the performance system. The research results can allow the non-computer major teachers make network websites by filling in the XML directly. (2) The paper sets up the standards of our college course websites on the basis of analyzing the excellent course website's content requirements of the major domestic well-known universities. It will shed light on the establishing of our college websites.
