In China, colleges and universities are carrying out a new round of reform onpractical teaching. With this background, practical teaching shows promising prospects.In foreign countries, a lot of universities already developed practical teachingplatforms according to their specific situations, or purchased sophisticated softwarefrom related software merchants. In China, the development of software teaching andpractical teaching platform started relatively late, some of the relevant educationalsoftware is not good enough, and needs a lot of money to buy. Therefore, thedevelopment of practical teaching platform specific to universities and majors isnecessary. In this paper, as an example of software engineering departments, we designand implement course management modules of practice teaching platform for softwareengineering majors. The system is based on Java network programming and of C/Smodel, using the development environment is JDK1. 6 + MyEclipse6.0.1, its coretechnology is the Java Socket communication theory, Java thread pool programming,Java Swing interface design, unicast technology. Its main features include multicastlearning, e-sign, remote control and powerful online real-time monitoring function, etc.,it is the combination of traditional teaching and modern networking technology, it hashigh teaching quality, low cost, large amount of information and some otheradvantages.This paper describes in full details the design and implementation of the practicaltraining platform for software engineering departments. It includes the followingchapters: Chapter 1 is an introduction, including the background to the study, researchstatus, significance, the second chapter is devoted to the design ideas and theoreticalbasis of practical training teaching management platform, the third chapter thendescribes the system requirements. Chapter IV describes key technologies used indeveloping the training management platform, the fifth chapter describes the detaileddesign and implementation of the specific functions of the training management platform, the sixth chapter describes the test of the training management platform. Theseventh chapter is a summary and outlook.
