| City' s waterfront is not only the birthplace for the civilization of a city, but also the civilization of mankind. From the Emperor Qin' s Epang Palace along Water Wei to the constructions of Beijing City in Ming and Qing Dynasty, from the reconstruction of the USA's Baltimore inner harbor to the construction of Hangzhou 's Binjiang New Area, because of the dependence for city and waterfront, the development and protection of city's waterfront is highly concerned in all ages.This essay will take the waterfront along Yongning River and Jiaojiang River in Taizhou as the main research object, from the point of managing the city and constructing the space, using environment evaluating means and methods along with the theory of intercross subjects such as psychology, sociology and environmental-behavior theory, and the aim is to evaluate, research and practice from the two aspects: building of city's waterfront and the meaning for city to develop waterfront, and to find out the basic use of it. |
