| With the Development of the urbanization construction unceasingly, the qualityand characteristics of urban waterfront environment and comfortable become thefocus of the outdoor open space, such as the northwest semiarid region of easternnew town belongs to cold region in qinghai city, special climate Conditions on thepeople all have certain effects in outdoor activities, time, quality, climate design as arelatively new concept is gradually into the urban planning design, it is the Mainidea of the related theory of climatology, knowledge, and is used in the design of theconventional urban planning, through proactive planning and design to change theadverse climate, weaken the influence of climate on people.In this paper, the research of urban waterfront environment from the Angle ofClimate design semi-arid northwest qinghai eastern new town sanhe six shore areaurban waterfront environment planning and design were studied.
