Study On The Renovation Design Of Industrial Heritage Landscape Of Two Rivers And Four Banks Of Chongqing Downtown District From The Perspective Of Cultural Space

Industrial heritage is an important part of urban historical heritage,containing a large amount of historical information.They reflect specific historical events,and rely on spaces which are formed by certain material remains,with clear backgrounds of The Times,rich practice subjects and strong historical significance.For the city built on water,waterfront industrial heritage is an important part of urban landscape,which plays a decisive role in the whole system of public space.Due to the reasons of transportation resources and history,there are many industrial heritages such as industrial and mining wharves,various processing plants and munitions factories distributed along the two rivers and four banks of Chongqing,which are facing the situation of disappearing in the process of modernization and renewal.This thesis introduces the theory of cultural space into the landscape renewal of the industrial heritage along the two rivers and four banks in the main urban area of Chongqing,and discusses the form of industrial culture and the spatial form of the culture it carries from the perspective of cultural space.Firstly,through the summary of historical data,the cultural spatial characteristics of the industrial heritage along the two rivers and four banks in Chongqing are analyzed from three aspects: ecological space,spatial place and humanistic spirit.In order to protect and continue the cultural spatial characteristics of Chongqing Riverside industrial heritage,it is proposed that we should pay more attention to the local cultural elements in the renovation of Chongqing Riverside industrial heritage.Secondly,by combing and studying the current status of the renewal of the existing industrial heritage landscape of the riverside,the existing utilization modes are summarized into three categories: scene preservation,terrain utilization and memory reproduction.It also analyzes the four problems of the ecological environment pollution,the fragmentation of the riverside space,the fragmentation of residents’ living space and the lack of history and culture in the current industrial heritage are analyzed.In view of the above problems,the thesis puts forward four renewal strategies of Chongqing Riverside industrial heritage landscape,including restoring ecosystem,breaking through breakpoints,opening public space and inheriting historical context.Finally,this thesis selects Da Zhulin Second mechanism Brick Factory,Ba Nan Water Turbine Plant and Jiang Bei Foreign Artillery Bureau to carry out the architectural landscape update design,including the basic overview,analysis of the cultural space elements of each industrial heritage,and combined with the strategy for planning and design.This thesis aims at making an in-depth analysis of the cultural space characteristics and current situation of the industrial heritage along the two rivers and four banks of Chongqing’s main city through historical and theoretical research,and proposing targeted promotion and transformation strategies.On the basis of improving the quality of the material space environment,the thesis also improves the use effect of the site space and the cultural concentration it contains,and enrich the spiritual and cultural connotation of the industrial heritage along the two rivers and four banks of Chongqing.And continues the memory of the city.
