The Jincheng city urbanization course became faster and faster, and the urban spatial structure were changed all over from the former ones. The development of cities is confined deeply and urban spatial structure optimization is the best way of development. Jincheng City is on its developing speedway, and also face the problem of restricted urban space. The flourishing economy needs more spatial space, so optimize the spatial structure is the best way to solve this problem.Based on the Garden City theory, The evacuated theory, The Urban-Rural Coordinated theory, using literature analysis, survey, quantity and quality combined methods, and structure analysis, this article studies on the Jincheng city development stage, the evolvement and expanding pathway of urban space. Then, this article researches on the the influence factors of the Jincheng city evolvement. Based in the analysis, several optimization paths are presented. Through the study on Jincheng inner city spatial structure, several conclusions can be drawn: (1) The Jincheng urban spatial is on the centralized stage, and will stay on this stadge for a long time. Lack of development dynamical drive, the economy in the city centre was becoming slower.(2) The landuse evolvement can be recognized on three moments, the built-up area is expanding faster and faster. (3) The dynamical drives of Jincheng city are excessively, including natural fundus, city safety structure, the main outer economy connection, policy and planning, and the industrial upgrade. (4) Several optimization paths are delivered, including organized teamwork development in the Jincheng urban area; optimization development in the city centre; and the urban-rural coordinated development is carried out on the urban-rural area.
