In modern society of commodity economy, probability and statistics have been a very important method for human beings to make rational conclusion and forecast. So various countries in the world make the primary content of probability and statistics an important part of the elementary and secondary school courses. In July 2001,ministry of education promulgates formally Full-time Compulsory Education mathematics Curriculum Standard (standard for short), in standard, probability and statistics is also put into the Compulsory Education mathematics Curriculum。Since the standard is put in practice, various editions of schoolbook reshape the market controlled by People Education press, which not only makes different regions choose the acceptable textbooks contrapuntally, but also provides more space for teachers everywhere.The paper tries to make a comparison with some content about the probability and statistics among edition of People Education press, edition of BNU press and CCNU press in the《standard》, and find out the differences to give some references and promotions to the Secondary Teachers and the Teaching Reform. The main component of the paper is followed:1. the contradistinctive research for the choreographies of the three editions. By the contradistinctive research for the choreographies about probability and statistics, the edition of BNU is decentralized correspondingly and the editions of People Education and CCNU are more centralized. And the structures of the editions are different:edition of BNU is "whole- parts-whole"; edition of People Education is "whole-parts" and edition of CCNU is intersectional.2. the contradistinctive research for detailed and exact issues of the editions. By gathering data, systemizing,describing and analyzing, we find that the edition of BNU pays more attention to the practice; the edition of People Education is equal to the standard; the edition of CCNU lionizes foundation and practicability. In this part the study of the courses and information are also considered.3. Consideration and expectation. consideration:The facility of data about the probability and statistics; the coordination of the content and examination about probability and statistics; how to use different editions better; expectation:enhancing the infiltration about probability and statistics in the textbook; enhancing the connection between theory and practicality; enhancing the application of computer technology in the probability and statistics.
