Thinking Characteristics Of The Mathematics Student Learning University Physics Research

In recent years, as the development of the science and technology and the economic globalization, the international competition is becoming more and more fiercer, knowledge becomes the decisive factor of improving comprehensive national strength and international competitiveness, talent resources become the strategic resources promoting the development of economics and society, the basic and guiding position and function of education will play more and more important roll. Education is a foundation stone of the national development, and talents build guarantee of the powerful country of human resources.As a result of the important status in science, economy and society, university physics become a basic compulsory course of university student of science and engineering, the purpose to study the university physics is not merely to establish the foundation for subsequent course, the more important thing is to foster and train the physical thought and physics method of the students.Cultivation of thinking is the core of physical study, how to make student form good physical thinking is the important goal of the teaching of university physical. Without good physical thinking, grasping more physical knowledge is only the accumulation the quantity, the break of the quality can not be realized. Whether the physical thinking is maturity or not concerns the grasping physical knowledge and the forming of scientific accomplishment directly.There are deep inner links between physics and mathematics. Mathematics is a dispensable tool of physics, the most law of physics is stated with the expression formula of mathematics. And the development and needing of physics opens up the broad world for mathematics.In recent years, a lot of teacher and scholar take many study how to improve the teaching quality of university physics course of students majoring in mathematics, certain achievement have been made too, but mostly direct research on the course system and the improvement of the teaching method, direct research on this subject of student's thinking are few. As we know, students are the principal part of teaching activity, this text has very important theory and realistic meaning.The key problem of this text is to study the thinking characteristic of students majoring in mathematics and the learning university physics combining the characteristic. Centre on this question, this text will carry on research from four following respects.The first section: Survey. Fundamental position of physics and function played in mathematics development were mainly described in the survey, intension of thinking and importance to study in physics, The meaning and thinking of this topic, current research situation domestic and international were also given a summary.The second section: Physical thinking and mathematics thinking were summed up and compared. In this part the function of thinking played in university physics study, the definition and thinking characteristics of physics thinking, the definition and characteristics of mathematics thinking were considered. The concept were analyzed, physical thinking and mathematics thinking were compare from three respects: the foundation of thinking, the expression forms thinking, the mode of thinking.The questionnaire investigation and analysis on questionnaire result were stated in the third section. About 450 students major in mathematics department were investigated. According to the result of questionnaire investigation, mathematics thinking characteristic were analyzed according to six respects of the thinking level, the students' thinking characteristic were summarized. The difference between physics study goal requirement for students' thinking and actual student behavior physical were explained in the section.The fourth section: According to the result of questionnaire investigation, the suggestions on students' learning method were put forward: language consciousness of mathematics act as of tool for physical should be strengthened, mathematics thinking shoulder effect of moving should be overcome; training of the image thinking ability of the physical should be paid attention to, study suggestions of visionary and intuition judge were proposed specifically; various physical research approaches should be mastered; the estimation, dimensional method and idealized method of the characterized order of magnitude in physics analyzed through examples; the ability of the physical experiment and the creative thinking ability of physics should be paid more attention to.Through the comparison between the physics thinking and the mathematics thinking, have stressed the characteristic of mathematics thinking from the aspect of theory. Through the analysis of questionnaire result, have summarized the students' thinking characteristic to study physics. The study suggestion put forward finally, it can be a reference for the students to study and the standard for teachers to consult.
