It is a very important subject to link up different teaching stages for the study of the education reform. The most essential problem is the connection between university and senior high school. There exists a disconnection between university and senior high mathematics teaching in many aspects such as teaching contents, teaching methods and study skills, which have direct influence on the quality of university mathematics teaching.Beginning with the investigation of the mathematics studying of the freshmen, the author designed a questionnaire, and found that the adaptability level of the freshmen's mathematics learning is not high enough, and that the majority of freshmen are unadaptable to their mathematics teacher's teaching method in universities. After that, this research adopted the qualitative research, which is about the person's 'life world' and the routine running of the social organizations. Through observing and analyzing the actual classroom teaching in some universities and senior high schools, the author attained the reason . There were differences between them. The mathematics teachers in senior high schools explain the contents in detail and more meticulously. The essential method of teaching is asking questions frequently. The quantity of skill training is very big and the students must spend much time doing exercises. But university mathematics teachers pay much attention to the logic and the system of mathematics knowledge. In classroom the principal instruction behavior is tuition and writing. They demand the students to understand mathematics concepts and principles. They also analysis examples and train skill but quantity less. At last, this paper put forward some teaching proposals to link up the math teaching between senior high schools and universities.
