Disposal Strategy For Mass Incidents Caused By Flights Delayed

Flight delays have already become prominent issues, with the rapid development of Chinese civil aviation system. To decrease flight delays, General Administration of Civil Aviation of China issued"Directive Proposals on Financial Compensation Caused by Flight Delay"In 2004. However, against all expectations, with the Proposal, disputes caused by flight delays do not decrease by any means but intensify. Mass incidents caused by flight delays, such as striking aircrafts, blocking the Gate, impacting security accesses, occur frequently at the airport. Whenever flight delays happen, travelers are obviously at a disadvantage, especially when they access to information and bargain, so they are difficult to achieve victory in the negotiations. In the end, they are inclined to take irrational measures to protect their own interest, thus resulting in an unfavorable recurrence of"no quarrel and no compensation, small quarrel and small compensation, large quarrel and large compensation", which forms a vicious circle, seriously affecting the passengers'traveling. Not only as a civil aviation industry practitioner, but also as a grass-roots policeman, who has worked on the public security at the airport for 10 years, I think, that studying the disposal strategy for mass incidents caused by flight delays is of great practical significance and significance to my work in the future. The Paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter I: Introduction. Lead to the purpose and the significance of the whole text, through the problems, many departments of the civil aviation industry have in the course of handing mass incidents caused by flight delays.
