Aviation Delays Induce Research On The Response And Treatment Of Passengers' Mass Incidents

The number of takeoff and landing is increasing each year in Chinese airport transportation.However,it is known that flight punctuality rate is decreasing gradually.This becomes an inevitable issue due to strong insufficiency in both ground and air supporting resources.Flight delays,especially large-scales flight delays,can easily result in passengers mass incidents.In recent years,passengers mass incidents because of flight delays has become more and more serious.It is estimated that such events occur hundreds of times each year.They have a fairly negative impact on service quality and economic benefit of civil airport transportation.The situation becomes even more serious if flight delays occur in a large and important airport.Despite the fact that the Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport has paid special attention to this issue and it has a fairly perfect emergency system,it seems that nothing can prevent passengers mass incidents from happening.What is wrong on earth? How to react appropriately? This paper,based on an example of mass incidents in Baiyun International Airport,first analyzes the characteristics of mass incidents in civil airport transportation,then investigates the main reasons for mass incidents,discusses the issues in proper handling of mass incidents,and finally propose some strategies and measure in case any mass incidents occur.Cheaters three and four are the critical ingredients of this paper.
