Flight delays has become an important problem which plague passengers and airplane companies, especially for the airports whose traffic is almost saturated or even overloaded, some unexpected environmental factors can lead to a large range of flight delays, resulting in the retention of a large number of passengers. Flight delays may also cause travelers' anxiety and dissatisfaction, and even conflicts when delays are not properly handled, affecting the normal operation of the aircraft flight or even damaging, which is a threat to the security of the airport and of the aircraft.In this paper, the questionnaire is used as a precondition to explore passengers' tolerance of airlines, airport management and services, and to explore the key factors which may cause visitors' conflicts. On this basis, polynomial Logit model is used to analyze the existing flight delays, explore the impact of different factors on the choice behavior, and propose the preventions and control measures according to the model projections to reduce the incidence of conflict behavior of visitors to maintain air passenger safety. In this paper, the choice behavior during conflicts is combined with the traditional traffic behavior research by Logit model, which is valuable in research. This paper consists of six parts:The first part introduces the origin and background of the topic, explain the target and significance of this study, summarize domestic and oversea conflict behavior, and identify research content and methods.The second part makes a clear definition of the activity of conflict behavior, based on the introduction of the connotation of flight delays, and analyzes the related concepts. We explore passengers' mental state under the delays and the behavior under conflicts. We also analyze the evolution of the conflict behavior.The third part studies airline information and services during the delays through questionnaire, comprehends the extent of passengers' tolerance for different raisons of flight delays, uses the principal component analysis to find common factors, analyses its core and action effects, and finds affecting factors which stimulate passenger conflict events.The fourth part combines the affecting factors of conflict behavior mentioned in the previous section and the requires of disaggregate model as an independent variables in this chapter, to analyze the key elements of conflict behavior incidents under Logit model, and to forecast conflict behavior.The fifth part combines key elements of conflict behavior and the prediction of Logit model, to put forward the conflict prevention and control measures to protect the trip, service assurance and rehabilitation.The last part of the research concerns the findings and outlook. We summarize the conclusions of the study, present insufficient data to support research and other areas, and explore researches in the conflict under Mixed Logit and other models.
