Project Management Based On Knowledge Management (KM)

With the fast development of society, we've stepped into the age of knowledge economy. Knowledge, instead of capital and energy source, becomes the core element of production. In this period, the enterprises must face the problems of the sharing and innovation of knowledge which ask for management innovation. At this time, a new management concept knowledge management was born. With the development and evolution of knowledge management theory, method and technology, how to manage the knowledge in our enterprises becomes the focus of this area. Starting from practical investigation and research, a detailed study on how to construct knowledge project is done on the base of the summing up and analysis of KM theory and article home and abroad in this field.As we all know, the demand for knowledge in a project is extraordinarily increasing with the coming era of knowledge economy. The knowledge and experience are more valuable in the project, and the complicated knowledge itself needs cooperation of many experts with different knowledge background. It urges us to reconsider the project management in the prospect of knowledge management : how to accumulate knowledge gained in a project process and use for reference in followed projects? How to share and pass knowledge efficiently?Main research object of this paper is the KM in project management. The author, using KM theory home and abroad in this field for reference, discuss and analyze the construction process of enterprise culture, organization system and KM system. At last, details of KM project construction are deeply penetrated with the practice cases.
