The concept and thought of Knowledge Management entered China together with the Knowledge Economy. At the end of 90's, with the further researched of KM and foreign corporations extended their Knowledge Management items, researchers realized the special meaning of Knowledge Management gradually.The strategic meaning of corporations Knowledge Management lied in it can manage knowledge assets of corporations and structure the key competitiveness of enterprise on the basis of KM. KM can provide powerful supporting of every aspects of the corporations continuable development, such as the market and customer analysis, make the management strategy, offer professional service and etc.Though study on Knowledge Management has for a period of time, but the corporations who can really exercise Km theory in management are very scarce, and the Knowledge Management System who can make benefits for corporations are less. Now the researchers pay more attention to the basic researches of Knowledge Management then extending it in corporations. I am on the basis of reading large numbers of documents about KM and the KM practice of a IT System Integration software company, then conclude the steps of KM and some notices, and then summarize out some theoretical directions with realistic significance.
