The concept and thought of Knowledge Management entered China together with the Knowledge Economy. At the end of 90's, with the further researched of KM and foreign corporations extended their Knowledge Management items, researchers realized the special meaning of Knowledge Management gradually.The strategic meaning of corporations Knowledge Management lied in it can manage knowledge assets of corporations and structure the key competitiveness of enterprise on the basis of KM. KM can provide powerful supporting of every aspects of the corporations continuable development, such as the market and customer analysis, make the management strategy, offer professional service and etc.Though study on Knowledge Management has for a period of time, but the corporations who can really exercise Km theory in management are very scarce, and the Knowledge Management System who can make benefits for corporations are less. Now the researchers pay more attention to the basic researches of Knowledge Management then extending it in corporations. And the corporations focus on making use of high-tech to support KM.For the corporations, the effective Knowledge Management should base on recognizing the real meaning of KM, but now there are very less documents basing on corporations demand analysis, and then concluding the steps of putting KM in practice. Especially, there are very less research about KM for different industries, the corporations are in dire need of theory direction of how to put KM in practice. IT Corporation is the main pillar of Information Industry, and it's also the industry whose knowledge update more quickly. The demand of IT Corporation bringing KM into effect is from IT Corporation and its employees themselves. I am on the basis of reading large numbers of documents about KM and the KM practice of a IT System Integration software company, then conclude the steps of KM and some notices, and then summarize out some theoretical directions with realistic significance. I wish the paper could assist the company who want to put KM in practice.The paper consists of Four Parts. In the first part it introduces the background knowledge of Knowledge Management. In the second part carries on demand analysis to IT enterprise of KM. In the third part on the foundation of the demand analyses, describe the concrete steps of put KM into effect in IT enterprise. Finally it gives a Knowledge Management instance of a IT enterprise.
