Astrategic Research In Transition For Sinochem Corporation

It is difficult to make strategic transformation in the operation of business. Many enterprises understand this through painful experience. Sinochem Corporation is currently encountering a complex and changeable economic, social, political, scientific and technological, legal or even ethical environment. To survive and develop, it is necessary to have a clear and comprehensive understanding about its own strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and challenges, still must be through strategic transformation to make it bigger and stronger. This paper choose Sinochem Corporation as a strategic transformation of the object of study to explore how to gain the ability of sustainable development in the complex and changeable international environment under the current condition of China's market economy, it is of great practical significance to other national enterprises.In this paper, we use SWOT matrix which is very applicable mode to analyse. On the other hand, we still analyse the strengths and weaknesses which exist internal environment that include Sinochem Corporation's own caliber, marketing ability, financial management, organization, personnel, management information system, then work out a practical strategic transition scheme. Sinochem Corporation must make strategic transition in its five main business, energy, chemicals, finance and real estates & hotels, push service-oriented industry strongly and promote sustainable development. This passage is an organic combination of theory and practice. Some methods of strategic analysis used in the passage as well as involved with strategic management theories and ideas have some certain universality and practicality, it is of some guidance and reference to strategic transition that other national enterprises will make as well.
