S Corporation is a large transnational logistics enterprise, which take charge comprehensive transportation and supply chain management. Its parent company is one of the suppliers of comprehensive logistics and transportation service, which stand leading position. Its business volume is listed the first in land transportation in Europe. Its air parcel is listed the second in the world and sea transportation is listed the third in the world. S Corporation had less than 2000 persons when it built in 2005. To the end of 2007, it had staff more than 4300. Too quick expansion caused a series of problems, such as network distribution too centralized, cost price too high, internal sale strength weak, and lack of a great deal of talents on logistics. These problems block development of S Corporation badly. It is just this Thesis want to research that how to reconstitute appropriate development strategy, and then solve the problems in development of S Corporation.This Thesis figures out conclusion that S Corporation is superior to average level of enterprises in the same industry in utilizing external opportunities and avoiding threatening by analyzing the external environment of S Corporation in detail and by EFE matrix. This Thesis also figures out conclusion that inner total strategic station of S Corporation is inferior to average level of enterprises in same industries by analyzing the internal environment of S Corporation in detail and by EFE matrix. Then this Thesis ascertains total goal of development strategy of S Corporation, which become first class comprehensive logistic service supplier in China, through SWOT matrix and combining with mission and perspective of S Corporation. Developing core business vigorously, striving to air parcel and sea transportation enter into first five in whole country; utilizing contract logistic as new increasing point, being leader of Chinese contract logistic, and offering door to door service for clients; keeping advantage in high--tech field, expanding clients scope in car and IT industry. Then this Thesis puts forward four strategic schemes to ensure realization of strategic goal, which respectively are differentia competition, strategic alliance, adjusting network distribution according to new economic region, and implementing EFA system and training, and guarantee implementation and assessment of strategy by balanced score card.
