A Study On The Application Of Constructivism Teaching Modes To The Tourism Management Teaching

Constructivism is an arisen social science theory in contemporary Europe and the United States, it is a cognitive theory, is a study philosophy.The educational reform which is guided by constructivism has gradually become an international trend in the development of education sector. In view of this, reflecting on the traditional education, learning from developed countries advanced teaching theories and methods, and constantly deepening the teaching reform, is the important issues on which our education that will train overall quality personnel facing.The paper which based on constructivism as main theoretical foundation apply three of the constructivism teaching mode (mode of projects research, problem-based learning, and the mode of scene teaching) to the teaching of tourism management, in order to make modest contribution to the tourism teaching reformThis paper is divided into the following five chapters to be discussed:Chapter 1, Introduction. This paper discussed the research background, the research significance, the research framework and the research methods.Chapter 2, The theoretical research on the teaching mode of constructivism. The paper explored the origins and development of the teaching theory of constructivism, and the rise of constructivism in the area of education, and the connotations of the teaching theory of constructivism and the teaching mode of constructivism. Finally, the paper introduced the four types of constructivism teaching mode.Chapter 3, The theoretical analysis of constructivism teaching mode which is applied in tourism management teaching. Analyze the necessity and feasibility of applying teaching mode of constructivism on tourism management teaching.Chapter 4, The applying research of teaching mode of Constructivism in tourism management teaching. Explore three constructivism teaching modes'(mode of projects research, problem-based learning, and the mode of scene teaching) the specific applications and the problems which should be paid attention to in application, in tourism management teaching.Chapter 5, concluding remarks. This article summarizes the main content and viewpoints, and the lack of research and the issues to be resolved.
