Enterprise Performance Management(EPM) is one of the most important parts of Human Resource Management(HRM).In recent years,with the increasingly wide spread of Performance Management ideas in China,PM was being received more and more regards by enterprises and even became the measurement for the enterprise to establish its strategic goals.Many enterprises spend a lot of manpower and money in order to build and perfect PM mathords as soon as possible.Even some enterprises invite outer force-consulting companies to help them build PM mathords.However,to our regret,the implementary effect of PM in the majority of these enterprises we've mentioned above is not good.As a result,it becomes an important issue for enterprise supervisors and researchers.Under the background of economic globalization,a new management mode has been implemented in MOTOROLA and GE,it benefits the two companies soon, gradually,many famous companies pay attention to it,this management mode is six sigma management methodology,as the global competition is accelerating,all of the world famous companies adopt six sigma management strategy to promote management level,reduce the cost,promote customer satisfaction,increase sale and strengthen core competitive competence,however,in our country,most companies can not understand the essence of six sigma management methodology and do not know how to implement it,how to combine the six sigma management and Enterprise Performance Management becomes another issue for enterprise supervisors and researchers.This paper aims at the current status of EPM,point out the shortage of the EPM and introduce an new advantaged method-six sigma management.Its improving mode-DMAIC(Define,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control) contains lots of effective tools,such as Cause and Effect Chart,Analysis of Bad Cost and Six Sigma Score Card.It also applies this concept and tools to the practice of PM improvement。This paper applies the DMAIC mode of 6σManagement to the performance management and improvement of XF company,and comes to the following conclusions: (1) 6σmanagement approach is not far-fetched,SMEs can combine their own norms that can actually be carded out 6a management.In this paper,such as XF company performance improving illustrates that 6a can be used at the small and medium-sized Companies.(2) 6σManagement DMAIC approach is a scientific theory to support the management and effective ways to improve performance,the paper adopted the two cases described to improve the implementation of steps to the success of the case description of the DMAIC model to improve enterprise performance activity are entirely feasible.Even though small and medium-sized in terms of resources on the limitations of small and medium-sized but that does not preclude the application of the DMAIC model.(3)We can see that the company's Sigma level of XF raise up from the original 3.44 to 3.76 from the case,which illustrated the enterprise performance is not only perceived,but can be used to describe with datas.This paper applies the 6σindex and 6σScorecard to measure enterprise performance which can be used to the enterprise performance preliminary assessment.(4) In this paper,not all the work done by theoretical studies,it highlights the combination of theory and practice thoroughly to avoid a number of enterprises in the performance management of the situation too much emphasis on form.It helps us to explore and apply the advanced performance improvement mode of small and medium-sized enterprises and provides a large reference value for us to solve the actual problem of enterprises.
