The Evaluation And Selection Of The Air Logistics Providers

Air logistics is one of the five modern logistics subsystems, which also include waterway, highway, railway and channel transportation. It plays an influential role because of its characteristic of speediness, safety and punctuality in the modern logistics system. Choosing an appropriate air logistics service provider will effectively cut down the enterprises's operation cost and enhance the enterprises operation efficiency. It is significant to construct a service provider evaluation model suitable for the actuality of the air logistics and choose an effective method to evaluate the choice of air logistics service provider. Based on the elementary theory of air logistics and the advantages and disadvantages of it, we analyse the actuality of our air logistics service and summarize the trend of the air logistics development trend. Then we analyze the principles and the steps of air logistics service choice, and collect the air logistics service data by the way of questionnaire survey. The service provider selection index system has been established by the method of factor analysis. Moreover, we promote a more practical indicator system by the theory of the fuzzy rough sets, and determine the final outcome's importance. Establishment the choice model of air logistics service supplier has been set up by TOPSIS. Finally, we summarize the characteristic and the significance of the model by an instance.
