Study On Warehouse Provider Selection For D Company Based On Fuzzy Theory

As the global economic integration for sustainable development and the increasinglyfierce market competition, many companies have outsourced logistics service. However,logistics service providers were replaced frequently because companies were short ofoverall supply chain concept and expected too much of logistics providers during thelogistics providers selection. So it is important and necessary for companies to set up areasonable logistics provider selection model.The subject of this paper is to help electronic company select warehouse provider.We researched companies’ situation, relevant papers, and meanwhile considered thecharacteristics of electronic and logistics industry.Firstly, as for the selection criteria, we concluded the criteria and gave explanationto each of them after literature review. Then, D company’s selection criteria were built,including the quantitative and qualitative criteria.Secondly, we set up D Company selection model which integrated the triangularfuzzy numbers with AHP and TOPSIS after analyzing current selection models.Lastly, in order to explain feasibility and practicality of this model, we run themodel step by step to select the cost-effective winner in four providers based the actual DCompany’s case.
